I began practicing yoga in 2013 and quickly discovered the spiritual benefits. As a follower of Christ, I had long sought for a deeper worship and prayer experience. Yoga created space in my life to be still before the Lord and to meditate on His steadfast, unfailing love. It also opened me up to areas of my life that hindered my growth spiritually. While yoga is certainly physically beneficial, I have found it to have a profound impact on my life emotionally, mentally, socially as well. What a beautiful gift God, our creator, has given us in yoga.
I completed my Teach Training with YogaFaith in August of 2015.
