I became credentialed in Yoga in June of 2015 after having completed a 200 hour training course in South Korea.  I was trained in Raja yoga and it is what I practice and teach.  It focuses on not only the body, but the mental aspect of yoga.

I practice because it makes me a calmer, happier person, more able to deal with the ups and downs that life throws at me.  I hope that each person I teach will be able to experience some of the peace that I have through yoga.

A typical class is 5-15 minutes of meditation and 45-55 minutes of asanas.  I call it a "low and slow" yoga class--while we do transition between some poses, mostly we work on alignment and holding still in each pose.
