Megan Gerhard has always had a passion for anything having to do with health and wellness. She has always valued the importance of proper nutrition and supporting the body with love and care through natural methods. She currently has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, with a concentration in Exercise Physiology. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Megan found her calling to become a yoga instructor during her own personal studies on understanding and connecting to the mind and body, and received her 200-hr certification through YogaWorks in April 2015. She practices and teaches both restorative and vinyasa-style classes, and specializes in arm balancing and inversions, as she has been a gymnast from a young age. She always enjoys a challenge, and encourages her students to take every opportunity to try new things as well. She believes by taking these opportunities, students will discover more about themselves, gaining new levels of strength and wisdom through their own practice. She is very excited to share her passion with all of her students, from first-time yogis, to those who have been doing yoga for many years. She believes there is always something new to learn and is eager to teach her students, as well as learn from them.
