Like many, I came to yoga for the fitness aspect of the practice. I quickly fell in love with the physical part, but was amazed to discover the mental benefits of yoga were real! After years of body-image and self-esteem issues, it was yoga that empowered me to embrace self-love and celebrate life, as is. I deepened my practice by taking the YTT 200-hour course at Chrysalis Yoga in Burlington, and I am forever grateful to my mentors and fellow students there - particularly Shanine Dennill. In time I have added on Prenatal and Children's Yoga modalities to my training portfolio. In 2024, I completed my 300hr training, with more to come!
I aim to teach classes that empower people and provide them an opportunity to quiet their mind to hear their own wisdom. I focus heavily on mindful alignment and awareness of breath to cultivate a present, authentic, and challenging practice.
