Marleni began her journey in 2001. Yoga has helped her learn being present, move with the breath, listen to her body, self-awareness, self-love, compassion for all, and more. Her aim since teaching in 2012 is to give her students exactly the same feeling she gets after her self-practice: complete awesomeness!
Leading a healthy life style for her and her family, a passionate runner, passionate cook, a baker, a Holistic Sports Practitioner and currently completing a course to become a Lifestyle Coach.
Her classes are Vinyasa-based (linking breath with movement), emphasizing alignment and Hatha (physical postures that bring union) harmonizing strength and flexibility. Her aim is to offer a safe environment for her students so they can enrich their practice and explore at their own pace the wonders of the mind, body and soul. She encourages the use of props and modifications to make yoga as accessible as possible to everyone.
Marleni has completed her Pregnancy Yoga Training with Sally Parkes, qualifying for her RPYT. Having experience yoga while pregnant, she completely believes in the benefits of practicing Prenatal Yoga and Post Natal.
She has two children of her own, so it comes natural for Marleni to teach yoga for kids. She attended Greville Henwood, 'Groovy Kids Yoga Teacher Training' in Dubai in November 2015 to expand her horizon.
As part of her continuous yoga education she recently attended a 100 hours Advance Vinyasa Yoga teacher training in Dubai with Clara Roberts-Oss and Nico Luce.
Her love for yoga inversion made her take a 30 hour Yoga Alliance accreditation course with Daniel Morgan and Neha Desuja in Dubai: Inverion Immertion.
