I am a retired middle school health teacher (27 years). I received my 200 hour teacher training from the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California in 2003. I recently completed another 200 yoga teacher training in 2023 with Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman Yee at Yoga Shanti in Sag Harbor, NY. After all these years, with many other trainings along the way, I realize more and more the need for bringing yoga and mindfulness into the school setting and beyond. I can think of no better way to leave a long lasting impact and legacy that has the potential to positively change the world.
