I am a mature & passionate Yoga Teacher who has been practicing yoga over 20 years and teaching for over 10 years. Yoga has helped me to manage a chronic condition. I became a yoga teacher in order to help others suffering from their own health issues.
In 2013, I completed a two year 250 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. I then completed an additional 80 hour Course in 2015, to increase my knowledge and help individuals with specific health issues. In 2018 I completed a 20 hour course that concentrated on different Meditation Techniques, that I share with my students.
In 2016, I joined a Rehab/ Wellness Clinic where I currently teach group Yoga Sessions (Chair and Mat Yoga) and small group sessions to patients as part of their rehab progression. I currently offer in-person & online classes.
Starting in January 2019, I taught a weekly Gentle Mat Yoga class at Maureen Rae's Yoga studio, when the pandemic prevented in-person classes, I taught this class and a Chair Yoga class online into 2021.
I currently teach weekly Chair Yoga. These classes are great for anyone, especially those who cannot practice on a mat. I also teach ongoing Hatha mat yoga. All of my classes include Meditation, Breathing techniques and a Relaxation.
I offer a variety of Workshops including: The Chakras, Chair Yoga, Meditation and Vision Board Workshop. These are currently available via Zoom and in-person.
