My yoga is subtle. It’s about finding the moments in your practice where you feel as though you’re lighter than air, disconnected from this reality, and connected to the infinite. It's finding and holding sacred space. It's learning that to live in this present moment takes practice and peaceful disconnection from the chaotic world in which we live.
When we begin our yoga journey, our bodies respond first with increased strength, balance and flexibility. Our minds learn to quiet after our movements become repetitious, the endless chatter ceasing for increasingly extended periods of time. Ultimately our spirits find connection to the universe and our hearts open. We create Sacred Space through our movement and breath, a place where the awareness of the light around us grows as we deepen our practice.
