The Art of Living – if there is anything that has ever defined my life, it is surely this.
In 1995, I first met my master – His Holiness Sri Sri Ravi Shankar – and life has been so full ever since. I completed my studies – finally getting a Masters degree in Chemical Engineering from IIT bombay, and then plunged into my life’s work – being a devotee.
The path of yoga was always fascinating and learning the intricacies of yoga with Sri Sri helped me plumb the depths of my yoga practice. Having had the good fortune of learning personally from Sri Sri, I went on to teach Sri Sri Yoga - a gentle yet profound style of yoga - which includes asana practice, pranayama, meditation and the philosophical basis of yoga.
Ever since 1995, I have had the good fortune of honing my yoga practice and teaching skills at the Art of Living International Center in Bangalore. At the ashram, I have been associated with many projects – ranging from agriculture to information technology, published books, produced documentaries and most satisfying of all - taught yoga courses and teacher training programs. With my Guru’s blessings I have also travelled widely, both in India and outside, teaching, and training people to teach, yoga.
