Offering yoga instruction to men, women and children at any stage of their life to feel strong, vibrant and happy!
Yoga transformed my life, which is why I am passionate about sharing the practice to others. Over years of practice and teaching, yoga has helped me to stay strong and flexible, has given me the courage to speak my truth, and has allowed me to step into a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
When I was pregnant with my son, I could not imagine continuing with my 8-year corporate career in the consumer products industry. At that stage in my life I was devoted to traveling, meeting clients and working with little to no sleep! So…with the loving support of my dear husband Alex, I left my attractive salary, company vehicle and 12-hour workday behind to start a new chapter of my life. I became a Mom! When my son was a year old, I deepened my yoga practice and became a certified yoga instructor.
I graduated from Maureen Rae’s yoga studio in 2011 for Iyengar Vinyasa Flow yoga. Each year, I have continued my studies with various International teachers for workshops in Restorative, Yin and Hatha yoga to deepen my knowledge and to keep my classes fresh. I have been blessed to learn from Rod Stryker, Seane Corn, Natasha Rizopoulos, Andrea Peloso, Cathy Keenan, Tracy Eccleston to name a few.
The last 3 years I have furthered my knowledge of Asian philosophy and practice. Specifically, I earned a Diploma of Acupuncture from the Ontario College of TCM and have successfully passed all of my board exams to be a Licensed Acupuncturist in Ontario, Canada. I chose this path so that I may serve my community with the knowledge of both yoga and TCM.
With my classes, my intention is to encourage and empower students at every level to align their bodies, minds, and hearts with their highest senses of self. Whether you’re new to yoga, advancing to the next level, seeking relief from injuries and pain, or simply desiring to access your inner wisdom, I’ll enthusiastically invite you to step into your full potential with one of my sessions.
Students describe my classes as engaging, effective and fun!
Creative and coherent sequencing, clear and precise instruction, and a light-hearted, down to earth attitude are hallmarks of my classes. With over 20 years of yoga, my classes now integrate the wisdom cultivated through my personal journey of study of both yoga & TCM, my personal practice, and my years of teaching experience.
I offer one-on-one sessions and lead group classes and workshops in the Markham and Toronto Area.
I look forward to seeing you soon!
Peace & Namaste,
