Lacey’s journey started in 2009 as a fitness instructor in her hometown of Denison, Texas. Having taught a variety of group fitness classes with multiple certifications including Pilates and Zumba, she found her true calling was yoga. After teaching for several years, Lacey decided it was time to take her training to the next level. She completed her 200-hour teacher training certification from North Texas Yoga in October 2014. She began her 500-hour YTT in January 2015 with a specialty in helping those in recovery. Aside from yoga, Lacey holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas Christian University. She frequently volunteers her time as a student mentor at Harlow Elementary. In the 2018 Lacey introduced yoga to the DAEP (alternative school) in Mckinney, Tx and taught yoga to high school students. She will be starting a new yoga program at the DAEP in Anna, Tx this fall with hopes of bringing yoga to all of the schools in the district eventually. During her free time she enjoys reading, attending concerts and spending time with her husband, son, daughter, church family and 3 rescue dogs.
