Katerina began a steady yoga practice quickly after graduating from college. At the time she was merely seeking a physical workout, however after just a few months of continuous practice she also discovered ways to better balance her personal and work life. Since then, Kat has become a stronger and more compassionate person, inside and out. This has inspired her to teach others how to be more mindful in their everyday lives. She believes in good karma, paying it forward, and embracing the differences between people and cultures.
Kat received her 200 Hour Certification in August 2014 through the traditional Ashtanga teachings of Sagarika Ghose in Massachusetts, and received her 300 Hour Certification in October 2020 through The River Power Yoga in Denver, CO.
Kat now teaches creative all-level Power Yoga and Vinyasa sequences paired with bass music. In each of her classes she aims to guide students on their personal journey to dedicate themselves to the present moment through movement and breath. Off the mat Kat loves to travel, attend music festivals, cook, and spend time with those who make her feel truly alive.
She looks forward to sharing the practice with you!
