I discovered yoga when I was in my twenties. A few years later when my busy corporate (yang) lifestyle brought me into a more regular practice I realised that yoga was not only beneficial to my physical body, but also had a tremendous impact on my mind, energy level and lifestyle. The curiosity to get a deeper understanding of yoga and its impact on us was the main driver to complete a Yoga Teacher Training in 2014.
With my growing passion for yoga and after further studies in India, Germany and Australia, I decided to explore new paths and become a yoga teacher. Using the knowledge gained from my studies and experiences from working in an office environment, my focus is bringing back movement, flexibility and repairing the damage we do to our bodies in our modern day lifestyle. I also use yoga as a complementation to improve other activities like surfing, cycling and running.
My yoga classes are a blend of Hatha, Vinyasa flow and Mindfulness with a safe, compassionate and skilful approach to focus attention on poses and movements. A way to access our body and increase self-awareness. I’m also passionate and trained to teach Yin Yoga, which allows you to let go of stress, reconnect with yourself and unlock emotional and physical blockages. I’m known for my approach to life with a big smile on my face and inspiring others to explore and challenge their own limits.
