Angela (RYT 500) teaches to share the joy of yoga, inspire students to smile, and dig deep into the benefits of asana. Her classes and workshops are uplifting, characterized by creative sequencing and dynamite music to compliment the mood. Angela believes that a sustainable practice requires attention to alignment and that the mind can find calm in the unpredictable. Her concoctions are challenging and playful, with a balance of spicy flows and mellow moments suitable for students at any level with an open-mind and willingness for laughter.
Her passion for nature, health, art and heritage are often the undertones of her imaginative class themes and workshops. Angela believes that nature is a quality ingredient to a happy heart and enjoys spending time hugging trees, picking berries, and bobbing on a surfboard whenever she can. She is a new mama to twin boys and is finding a whole new dimension to her practice and life.
Angela has been a student of yoga and meditation since 2007 and has practiced a variety of styles including ashtanga vinyasa, vinyasa flow, kundalini, hatha, and yin. She received both her RYT 200 & 300 certifications under the amazing guidance of Valerie Jeremijenko (Yama Yoga Studios). She has also had the privilege to study with a variety of dynamic and international acclaimed teachers including; Eoin and Insiya Finn, Kathryn Budig, Chris Chavez, Meghan Currie, Noah Mckenna, Michael Gannon, Tiffany Cruikshank, Alison West, Nicki Knoff, Renee McNamara Cerro, Brigit Krammer Woods, Lesley Gray and Christy Brown.
