Lisa Ann Gold only recently became a ERYT, but I have many years instructing yoga in Los Angeles beginning in 1995, guiding people to be their best selves is the torch I hold. Pain, stress and fear are inspiration and motivation guiding me.
I believe these sensations hold many of us back in our lives, if its not in your head it is somewhere in your body, intimacy with ourselves is knowledge and power, yoga is one of the best tools for expanding that self knowledge.
I have 600 hours in ayurveda training from a brilliant and unfindable bare foot Dr. John Holmstrom ODM and over 19000 hours of massage practice including traditional thai yoga massage, Ana Forrest's theories of what holds us back from being our best and highest self. I feel very connected to Angela Farmer and Victor Van Kooten, I have found new inspiration from Nubia Teixeira, Founder Bhakti Nova Devotional Yoga School. I am working on completing my STREAM modules with Dr. Ellen Heed, who teaches the four domains of health bio chemical, bio mechanical, emotions, and scars unseen.
This work deeply motivates my massage practice, what is usable on so many different levels when understanding, the stories about our injuries and what the scars may actually hold on the unconscious level become unveiled.
I cover curriculum for anatomy for the Big Bear Yoga and Ayurveda teacher training.
I live full time in Big Bear California in the amazing so cal Mountains.
Everyone's road includes a journey to discover the forces that drive their nature, yoga is in nature because you breath.
