Morgan Daugherty is a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certified yoga teacher. She is trained to teach Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, and Aerial Yoga classes. Morgan took her first yoga class in 2005 and felt immediately like she had found something she had been seeking. She received her 200 hour certification through the Woodlands Yoga Studio RYS, studying under master teachers Sue Brooks, E-RYT 500, Elizabeth Hoffman, E-RYT 500 and Karen Henderson, E-RYT 500. Morgan is a certified Mindful Resilience Teacher with the Veterans Yoga Project, specializing in working with veterans who are recovering from stress-related mental health challenges. She is also a Yoga 4 Cancer Trained Teacher, working directly with those going through cancer treatment or in active recovery. Morgan's teaching style is dynamic, challenging, and aims to blend inspiration, humor and hard work. With a background in alignment-based yoga as well as a love for the study of body mechanics, she strives to bring safety and conscious movement to the forefront of every class.
