I am a yoga teacher trainer, dance and yoga teacher, living in Northern BC, enjoying life with my lovely family at work at the Prince George Native Friendship Centre. I run Amanita Wellness, teaching yoga and dance classes, and work with a variety of spaces, people and wellness formats in our community. I have completed 200 hour and 300 hour teacher trainings through South Okanagan Yoga Academy and have been teaching a range of yoga formats since then. My specialty project was on Elders chair yoga, which I offer weekly to Elders and seniors in our community.
I have been honored to be included in the faculty group at South Okanagan Yoga Academy, or SOYA, and co-teach 200 hour and 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training sessions in Prince George and Mackenzie, BC with the fabulous Cindy Szekely. I look forward to leading online teacher trainings with SOYA faculty member Becky Stone, and sharing in the online teacher training adventure with Natasha Scott, Terri McDermott, Elaine LaMarre, and the incomparable Ms. Mugs McConnell!
During these challenging times, I want to honor and acknowledge the studio spaces in my community of Prince George that have persevered and continued to provide safe spaces for the yogis of Northern BC: thank you to Chinook Yoga and Sunset Studio! :)
