Award-winning entrepreneur, lecturer, trainer, and industry spokesperson Jeremy Lowell, DDS, is a practicing dentist who became active in the business of fitness in 1995, when he and his wife, group exercise guru,Lori Lowell, became owners of their first fitness facility, in Virginia.
His expertise in fitness has been enhanced by a lifelong commitment to yoga practice and he is a certified yoga instructor. He has been instrumental in the development of the Drishti Beats™ Yoga Teacher Training and is a core instructor in the program.
He and Lori have expanded their own fitness businesses, which now include 7 Fitness Facilities across Northern Virginia and Wisconsin. In 2009, they started Group Fitness Solutions, an onsite service for club owners, wellness facilities, corporate fitness locations, and resorts to better understand how to set up successful group fitness programming and group fitness departments.
Jeremy plays a major role in their fitness facilities and serves as the CEO. In addition to training and teaching fitness, he was involved in the development and growth of MOi Cycle, an innovative cycle class still active today. At the same time, he and Lori developed Drishti Beats™.
Drishti Beats™ began as a down tempo, electronic music production company with multiple members of Jeremy and Lori's family, as well as other musicians with the intent of creating music for the yoga space. This evolved to yoga classes being created with a music/movement connection and progressed to the group being invited to multiple yoga and music festivals worldwide. For over 5 years now, Jeremy and Lori teach yoga while being surrounded by live musicians in front of audiences big and small.
As time moved forward Jeremy and Lori, through Drishti Beats™, providing both 200hr© teacher trainings and 300hr© teacher trainings in live and virtual settings. He offers continuing education related to yoga as well.
Jeremy’s business acumen in the fitness industry has awarded him many accolades and he also has been featured in multiple fitness industry related publications.
Jeremy is a 1985 graduate of Georgetown University Dental School. He began private practice in Northern Virginia. In 2006, he works part time for his eldest son in Aspen, Colorado. He and his wife, Lori, have three grown children, Ian, Ariel, and Alec.
