Nayla is an experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500 - RPYT) and a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider (YACEP). With her mindfulness and her extensive knowledge of the yoga anatomy, she guides and adjusts her students into perfect alignment, making the difficult positions easier to reach. She integrates pranayama (breathing exercises), dynamic vinyasa flows, static asanas and yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) into her hatha classes while empowering her students to embrace life more fully, encouraging them to be open to the experience of yoga beyond the physical postures.
Her journey as a teacher began in South India where she completed her 200 hours teacher training at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Meenakshi Ashram. Her spiritual path drove her later to Ananda Marga where she completed another 200 hours teacher training led by Dada krsnasevananda. In 2010 she obtained a teacher certification in Pilates from the Sports international Performance Institute and an international Body Balance instructor certification from LesMills. Her passion for the art of breathing drove her to study Breathwork. In 2012 she obtained a certification from Master Choa Kok Sui foundation, and a Training Certificate of Breath Work by the International Foundation. Her heart brought her back to the land of Vedanta to complete the Advanced Teacher Training at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Dhanwantari Ashram. Later, she specialized in Aerial yoga with Aerialife and in pre/postnatal yoga with Michelle Kaminski.
In 2014, Nayla felt the responsibility to transmit the valuable knowledge she had been gathering from her teachers. With more than 8 000 hours of teaching experience and an E-RYT 500 from Yoga Alliance, she founded YOGA 108.
Today, the school offers 200hrs teacher trainings certifications in addition to pre- and postnatal specialisations internationally accredited by Yoga Alliance. It also aims to draw closer a group of people sharing an eagerness to help each other pursuing their path.
