Megan Cook, RYT200 born and raised in Ontario received her yoga certification in December 2013 from Shanti Yoga School. She then went on to receive her children's specialization, CRYT in 2014. It is through her yoga practice that Megan found a way to quiet her mind to become more present. Although it is not always easy to step onto the mat, her practice creates moments of clarity and gratitude that have enriched her life in many ways. Learning to acknowledge, accept, and celebrate where she is now and then beginning from that moment has helped her on and off the mat. Megan considers herself a constant beginner and enjoys teaching others in a non-judge mental way through connecting the breath with movement. During Megan’s class you can expect moments of meditation, flowing sequences, and non-traditional music. Her intention is to assist you with movement through breath in hopes you find a relaxing yet energized feeling both physically and mentally.
