Nicole Macharelli began her yoga practice in 2010. She is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT200, which means that she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at an active RYS and has taught more than 1,000 hours. Nicole is also a RPYT, as she has completed an 85 hour prenatal yoga training. Her prenatal classes are styled after a combination of the teachings of Hansa Knox and Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa.
She enjoys attending workshops and yoga related events. She has attended Ayurveda, kirtan, and storytelling workshops with John de Kadt, Brenda McMorrow, and Girish, an Ashtanga workshop led by Kino MacGregor, completed Restorative Yoga trainings with international presenter Jillian Pransky, practiced with Tao Porchon-Lynch, studied senior level Iyengar Yoga teacher Carrie Owerko's playful approach to accessibilty and completed Mindful Resilience for Trauma Recovery with the Veterans Yoga Project.
She primarily teaches heated vinyasa classes, but is experienced in beginner's yoga classes, vinyasa, hot yoga, restorative yoga, and prenatal yoga. Her classes are alignment oriented flows that focus on pairing breath with movement.
