Since 1999, Tasha has offered Hatha Yoga in the Berkshires, Massachusetts. As she guides her students to practice with heartfelt expression and finely tuned alignment, she encourages each one to enter into their own independent, revelatory relationship with life. Seeking always to inspire her practice and teaching of yoga through love and a practical grounding in the ecstatic reality of being, she is grateful for the influential guidance of her teachers. Currently she practices yoga asana with Senior Iyengar Yoga Teacher Patricia Walden. In 2017 she became an authorized teacher of Neelakantha Meditation as taught in Blue Throat Yoga with Dr. Paul Muller-Ortega, after eight years of practice and study.
Tasha began her yoga practice in 1980. After graduating from Wesleyan University in Asian Studies, she taught secondary social studies for nine years. She began offering yoga full time in 2003. In 2007 she was certified in Anusara Yoga, and opened Tasha Yoga studio in Williamstown, MA. In 2016 the studio relocated to a historic building on Spring St. in the center of the village. Tasha offers weekly classes and personalized yoga sessions to optimize individual well-being. The studio regularly hosts workshops with master teachers with an alignment oriented approach.
