Lisa was introduced to Yoga as a teen suffering from low self-esteem and began her journey into the teachings of Hatha Yoga.
She studied the Ashtanga Vinyasa system with some of the most renowned senior teachers. And began to dive deeper into the paths of Jnana, Karma, Raja, Bhakti & Nada.
With dedicated studies both guided and self, she was asked by a local studio to share her passion with the Fort Lauderdale community.
Lisa also became the co-director of Aananda Yoga teachers training based out of Fort Lauderdale for several years, then moved into specialized training in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Continue Ed.
Lisa is also passionate about healing arts and is a Reiki Master, Vedic Thai Yoga practitioner, Vibrational healer, and practitioner of Qi-Gong. As a lover of creative movement, she also loves dance, roller skating, snowboarding, or anything that makes you feel good.
From prior working with VIPs within the nightclub industry in NY & Miami, Lisa specializes in private teachings for high-profile individuals and public figures and offers private yoga trainings.
In addition to Lisas’ long time passion of intentionally bringing others together in the name of wellness, she has blossomed into becoming a community leader in the south Florida area. Lisa has created a deeper connection for the conscious community with her online website and social media hubs, the yogacOMmUNITY of Florida since 2007
Lisa is the founder & director of Ft Lauderdale Beach Yoga, offering affordable classes, monthly full moon gatherings, and environmental awareness through beach cleanups since 2008. She is a nature lover and facilitates many events which focus on our connection to nature.
As a wellness advocate, creative force & community activator, Lisa produces various wellness events featuring guest speakers throughout Florida.
She works with the City of Fort Lauderdale, Bonnet House Museum & Gardens, and other local organizations to create wellness programs for the community.
