I started to practice Yoga 7 years ago. Suffering physical problems from working in a busy office job I was looking for something to help me resolve them, I quickly saw the benefits yoga brought to my life, both physically and mentally and ever since it has become an increasing part of my life. This inspired me to progress my yoga journey and gain the ability to teach and share my experience with others.

I studied my first yoga course in Shenzhen, China, completing 200 hours of YTT training at Pro Yoga. Gaining my first teaching qualification encouraged me to further develop myself, knowledge, skill and teaching ability. I then moved to Shanghai to focus on seriously developing my yoga ability, where I undertook an intensive period studying and practicing as part of a group of yoga instructors for 5 months at Leaf Yoga in Shanghai. It was during this time I got my first opportunities to teach, firstly substituting for other instructors and from this I developed a network of studios and gyms where I became a regular instructor. To further develop my knowledge of wider yogic principles and with the intention of yoga becoming a full time career, I undertook my RYT 200 course at Zuna Yoga in Bail. This really enhanced my knowledge of Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, Yoga Philosophy, Yoga Anatomy and Ayurveda.

Through my teaching I aim to help my students develop a sense of calmness and confidence, as well as provide them with inspiration and encouragement to develop themselves both physically and mentally.
