Anu is a passionate yoga practitioner and teacher. She teaches alignment based hatha yoga in Singapore and Munich.

Anu Visuri took her first yoga class accidentally in the late 90’s, when she was studying Pedagogy and Education at the University of Turku in Finland. She thought she was going to an aerobic class at the sports center of the university, but soon noticed it was something else… Ashtanga Yoga. It was maybe the hardest physical practice she’d ever had, but after the class she felt so good and totally at peace. Since then Anu has practised quite many different styles of physical yoga: from Ashtanga to Sivananda to Anusara to Iyengar yoga. In 2010 Anu took her first yoga teacher training at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre in Austria. Immediately after the training she started to teach, but soon noticed that her knowledge of the human body and a safe asana practise was limited. She had just moved to Germany from Tokyo, Japan, where she had occasionally joined an Anusara class. The non-dual tantric philosophy, precise cues and the hard work on asana were still on her mind. In 2011 she found herself in the Anusara immersions and teacher training with Barbra Noh in Munich, Germany. In 2015 Anu wanted to expand her knowledge of yoga and joined the YOGAMAZÉ 300 hour Teacher Training in Berlin, which she completed in June 2016. In 2018 Anu successfully fulfilled the requirements of a Anusara Certified™ Yoga Teacher.
