With a strong athletic background and desire to understand the needs of the physical and mental body, I practiced yoga for years before discovering becoming a teacher. However, the day I decided to pursue this dream was the day yoga became the most important aspect of my life. Since then, I have obtained my E-RYT 200, RYT 500, and SUP Yoga teaching certification through Longwave Yoga in Wilmington, NC. Yoga has opened the door for a lifetime of learning, self-discovery, and an opportunity to do what I love, teach. It has also paved the way for me to lead workshops and classes in studios around the southeast, and even on international yoga retreats. Now, I have the honor of joining Longwave Yoga’s admirable senior staff in co-facilitating 200-hour and SUP Yoga teacher trainings. Committing to this journey has taught me how to navigate life’s uncharted waters with grace and strength and instilled in me the devotion to share that same sense of personal power with others. It has encouraged a deeper connection within, and reminds me everyday that I am capable of creating the life I desire to live. Through training and teaching, I hope to instill in students confidence, strength, and self-love in a strong and powerful, yet compassionate and vulnerable way, inspiring those around me to live in a way that truly fulfills their soul and uplifts the world.
