Kristy Harvey is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, which acknowledges the completion of a yoga teacher training with a Registered Yoga School (RYS).
Kristy Harvey is a movement educator, writer, and public
speaker on topics of mindfulness, work - life balance,
and living vibrantly. Her book, Mindfulness On the Move,
gives suggestions on how to find stillness through movement. She is a Brown Belt Nia Instructor, Thai Yoga Bodywork Practitioner and Trainer, and an RYT-500 Yoga Instructor and Trainer.
Kristy is the former Administrative Director of the Mindfulness Center at the University of Virginia. In 2010, she developed and implemented a clinical trial at the University of Virginia Cancer Center to study the effect of the Nia Technique among women treated for breast cancer.
In 2011, she started a Restorative Yoga program for breast
cancer survivors and caregivers at the UVA School of Nursing.
Kristy has helped hundreds of people learn new ways to find happiness at work and at home. She currently lives in Tucson, AZ.
