I began my yoga journey in 2011 after participating in my first Chicago Marathon. Due to post marathon injury yoga came to play as a type of rehab. After sticking with it during the recommended time I fell in love and never looked back. Now I use yoga as an ability to connect my mind and body which can sometimes be difficult as I am also living with Multiple Sclerosis. I have found that a consistent yoga practice, maintaining a "yogic" lifestyle and being physically active and fit as my way to live a healthy life with MS. The thing that brings me the most joy is to be able to provide this same benefit of a yoga practice to others. Whether it is for physical health or mental health, I believe that yoga is the key to overall wellness.
