Joy started practicing Hatha Yoga in Portland, OR in 1994 while in college. She immediately realized the significance her yoga practice brought- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Joy's classes interweave alignment, subtle body awareness, mindfulness and pranayama. Her classes invite us to cultivate intention, to shift perspective, to develop tools we can take off our mats and out into the world to help us better cope with everyday challenges and navigate our lives more skillfully. Joy aims to inspire confidence, joy and an overall sense of ease and well being in each and every class!
