CROW YOGA has a simple mission: to provide the best training possible for yogis to learn and develop their skills as teachers. To this end we offer top quality teacher training courses delivered by experienced senior yoga master teachers.

3 Courses in 1:
At CROW YOGA, we focus on Hot Yoga and 3 distinct practice styles:
- Hot Classic 26 (Foundation)
- Hot Hatha (Expanded)
- Hot Vinyasa Flow (Evolved)

Why? Because there is no one perfect practice for everybody and all successful teachers and successful studios offer variety. Rather than trying to sell the best practice or produce cookie-cutter teachers who graduate and can only teach one class, our focus is different: we aim to create amazing teachers who can teach a variety of classes.

To achieve this goal, our course focuses on teaching teachers how to teach and how to sequence effective and engaging classes. Using this tried and tested technique, CROW YOGA graduates are prepared to teach Hot Classic 26, Hot Hatha, Hot Vinyasa, non-hot Hatha, and non-hot Vinyasa classes right after training.

It’s like 3 different yoga trainings in one! It works because the three practice styles support one another and build on each other. This intuitive, module-based learning system makes it easy to expand and grow your teaching abilities. Each class can be broken down and delivered in 45min, 60min, 75min, or 90min class formats. And all hot classes can also be taught in a non-hot environment.

Our approach allows our teachers to meet the needs of a diverse student base, to give themselves and their students a path to grow and develop their practice, and to give our teachers an edge up in the red-hot but increasingly competitive yoga job market.

Hot Teachers can always teach non-hot classes, but not the other way around!

Crow Yoga RYS was created by Copper Crow in 2009.  Its creation and evolution came out of necessity.  At the time, Copper was Head of Yoga for Pure Yoga Singapore.  Pure Yoga is one of the largest yoga companies in the world with huge 5-room studios in multiple locations in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Shanghai, Beijing, and New York.  Pure Yoga was one of the first multidisciplinary schools that offered a variety of practice styles, with over 300 classes per week in Singapore.  This made hiring full-time teachers challenging, because teachers typically only had one certification in one practice style, which made ideal teacher scheduling challenging; ideal being that the teacher can come in and teach 2-3 classes back to back and be done for the day, without big gaps between classes.  To accommodate for this style scheduling, Crow Yoga RYS, specifically 200-RYS Hot Yoga Teacher Training with Copper Crow was created.  This one training prepared teachers to teach 6 distinct classes, allowing them to cater to a wide variety of students and get a great schedule at the same time.  And from there, the rest is history.  Copper has been leading 200-YTTs bi-annually ever since, with graduates teaching all over the world.
