The teacher course is 200 hours long and the graduate will receive an international certificate on behalf of the "World Yoga Teachers Organization - Alliance Yoga".


Asana practice - Asana practice and teaching are a major part of the course. We will learn the first series according to the Ashtanga-vinyasa method, we will learn different sequences of dynamic yoga-vinyasa practice according to principles.

History and philosophy of yoga - we will review the history of yoga and the main texts in the yoga tradition. We will delve into the study of Patanjali's Yoga Sutra.

Pranayama and meditation - we will learn and practice yogic breathing techniques (pranayama) and meditation, quiet sitting practice.

Practical anatomy and physiology - we will learn practical anatomy and physiology with an emphasis on the muscular system and the principles of correct posture. We will deal with the biomechanics of the poses and common biology among yoga practitioners.

Tools for teaching - tools for standing in front of an audience are opened, tools for correct use of the voice, learned and practiced can be attentive and sensitive to another person. Developing the ability to modify (adjusting the practice) building an appropriate sequence around a topic/group. Adjusted for gender, age and personal needs. Adjustment (intention by touch), language skills, body language and building lesson plans.

Modifications - adapting the practice to students with different back/knees/shoulders, women during menstruation, pregnancy and childbirth and more.

Adjustment - using touch to make the pose more precise, we will learn the principles of the emphasized mechanics and the directions of movement of the asanas and all to practice in a stable and relaxed manner, a safe practice in reduction.

The language as a tool for teaching - in the course we will learn about the correct use of the voice while teaching, the use of appropriate language and intonation ranking, the use of images in order to print the teaching and the dynamics in the class.

Teaching methodology - we will learn tools for building lesson plans, we will learn different ways to teach the first series - Ashtanga Yoga. And we will develop tools for building dynamic vinyasa practice sets, with an emphasis on creating a flowing and accurate set, we will learn and work according to guiding principles.

Personal specialization: the participants in the course must practice the application of the tools and technique in teaching and teach (family members, friends, etc.) a number of lessons which they will record and share in the class and personal forum (in front of the teacher) in order to accept them according to the improvement of the skill for the continuation. Advanced in the course, participants in the course must experience teaching peers, building an array and teaching a 45-minute dynamic vinyasa yoga class.

Ethics - studying moral practices of a yoga teacher and practitioner. As a man/woman in the world and as a professional personality. The subject of ethics is a principled subject which we will study through discussion groups and face-to-face lessons, we will deal with communication between teacher and student, between teacher and teacher and between human beings in general.

Personal practice - the teaching of yoga is based on personal practice, in the course we will learn how to build a stable and continuous personal practice. Therefore, in a routine and daily practice course.

Yoga as a tool for personal development - Yoga is a way and within it tools for life, tools that allow one to get closer to the inside, while practicing and studying one develops an ability to see reality in a clearer way, and self-fulfillment becomes possible.

Yoga as a profession - towards the end of the course we will deal with the topic 'what after the cross as a teacher and practitioner'. We will receive tools for management, tools for communication with practitioners-students, we will talk about the professional possibilities of a yoga teacher in the job market as a freelancer and/or an employee. About marketing, insurances as well as other tools for management as a teacher and as a business.
