Yoga Here & There’s mission is to make the world understand that a hug, a deep breath in, a prayer and a handstand are different aspects of yoga, that yoga is suitable for people of all ages, sizes, conditions and backgrounds and that yoga can be challenging but not because you must be able to touch your toes (which you really don’t need to). We aim to achieve our mission by making yoga accessible for everyone. Whilst we remain eternal students ourselves, we intend to spread a genuine love for the eight limbs of yoga across the globe by teaching various styles and paths of yoga. We address a variety of subjects related of yoga, such as philosophy, anatomy, lifestyle and spirituality.
The main objective of our multistyle teacher trainings is to show that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to practicing and teaching yoga. Whichever style of asana you like to practice or whether you choose a whole other path of yoga, what is appropriate for you now, may not be the right practice for someone else and may not be what you need later.
We therefore choose to give you a broad view of what yoga can be, whilst making sure you get a solid training in the foundational concepts of yoga. Our hope is that our 200-hour and 250-hour trainings encourage you to continue searching and studying after our program, designing your yoga journey according to your needs and in turn supporting your students to do the same.
Our multistyle program encompasses a variety of traditional and modern asana styles including their relevant alignment and adjustment methods. However, it also gives you an insight into the spiritual and philosophical aspects of yoga, motivating you to look beyond the physical practice.
We spend about one-fifth of the program on teaching practice because we want you to find your own voice and be able to hold a safe space with confidence while you teach.
