We believe studying yoga is as meaningful and important to the world as studying science, politics, literature, or anything else offered in school, college, or university. We believe a commitment to deep learning and practice of yoga produces compassionate leaders on and off the mat and makes the world an even better place. Blossom Yoga School's 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training is offered in two formats to fit your schedule and making yoga teacher training accessible. At our Cheyenne, Wyoming location, we offer an eight-month program consisting of monthly weekend intensives. In Laramie, Wyoming, we offer a weekly immersion format in which trainees meet one day per week for about six months. Both formats include independent reading and writing assignments, as well as personal practice. Alignment-based Hatha and Vinyasa styles are emphasized with introductions to yin and restorative practices. This training is registered with the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga School (RYS), and students who successfully complete the training are eligible to register with the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT).
This training is suitable to all yogis regardless of gender, age, orientation, race, beliefs, and body types. The experience is intended to deepen the yogi’s personal practice, advance personal growth, and prepare him/her to teach Hatha-style yoga classes. Basic knowledge of and some experience with yoga is recommended.
