Reviews

As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.

Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.

By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

Over our month-long journey together on the AYP Teacher Training Course we deeply explored all eight limbs of yoga, not just as an academic exercise but as a set of powerful practices that bring about as much purification and spiritual evolution as any person could want. Our teachers gave us clear instructions on how to apply these practices for a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable yogic journey. The retreat environment was very supportive, friendly, fun, and often lighthearted while still remaining professional. It was quite evident that each of our instructors taught us from the perspective of considerable experience and deep inner silence. There were no questions about yoga that our teachers couldn't answer, and no difficulties in practices that they couldn't help us overcome. I greatly deepened my own personal practice, met my yoga family, and had the time of my life.

Advanced Yoga Practices have changed my life. I don't think that just any other yoga teaching would have. It is because this Yoga system focuses on meditation (and other sitting practices) and not only mainly on asanas. Thus it is full-scope and covers the eight limbs of Yoga . It teaches us how to become autonomous in our practice to transmit that in return to our students. This yoga system has been wonderfully designed and nothing has been left over. It deserves to be well-known, and I believe it will be. The teachers have been fanstastic. Passionate, kind, open-minded, funny, very knowledgeable and receptive. And the list could go on and on. The atmosphere within the group was incredible. Like a loving family. This AYP TTC has been one of the most beautiful experiences in my life. So yes, I definitely recommend it! Thank you so much guys... Lots of love.

The level of individual attention given to us by enlightened teachers is beyond words. We are all grateful and full of joy for such teachers. Even people who are already yoga teachers and did this training say it is like no other. I can highly recommend the Advanced Yoga Practices Teacher Training. It is so much more than a teacher training course, it was also a retreat and a means to connect with colleagues from around the world and work with them in the future. And above all to learn from great teachers who know ...and make dear life long friends while we begin to change ourselves fundamentally.

This was a very well thought out curriculum and program for yoga and the teachers followed it precisely breathing in depth and life to all elements. It covered all the important elements of Advanced Yoga Practices and allowed us to put them into action with a level of guidance, expertise and dedication that is unheard of. Having often practiced yoga with yoga teachers, I can say that this course covered things that many yoga teachers will not know and all the points that are necessary to guide others in yoga.
