As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

I loved every aspect of training at White Lotus! Tracy and Ganga focus on longevity by focusing on "slowing down" to prevent injuries in the future and the land where White Lotus is located, feels magical and deeply spiritual, as we are surrounded by the energy of the Indian Chumash! The food is nourishing and delicious!! I highly recommend White Lotus!

The 200-hour training I received at White Lotus exceeded my expectations. Their knowledge of yoga and approach to instruction enhanced my interest and understanding within myself and how I go about instructing yoga. The location and lodging were in nature. The food served was delicious. The staff was accommodating. The focus on a safe and clean environment for all was also comforting. There were fun activities and lived music on certain days. The whole experience was uplifting.

I highly recommend White Lotus Foundation for any Teacher Training Certification. I received my 200-hour certification at the White Lotus Foundation Teacher Training in 2016 with Kent Bond and Sven Holcomb. This was a 16-day immersion filled with incredible insights and impactful information. Lectures and classes with Ganga White and Tracey Rich as well as guest speakers are all part of the sweet nectar this training offered. I loved the non-dogmatic approach that integrates both the Art and Science of Yoga. As I continue to evolve in my yogic journey both as a teacher and as a student, I am grateful for the strong foundational knowledge I received in yoga philosophy, asana, pranayama, anatomy and alignment principles, and Sanskrit from the White Lotus Foundation. Located in the hills above Santa Barbara, the ground on which White Lotus sits deeply nourishes the mind, body, and soul. The vegetarian meals all lovingly crafted and cooked in house were amazing. Sleeping accommodations were peaceful and comfortable. Attendees from all over the world lend to learning from one another and giving us a variety of perspectives. I am so grateful for the people who were involved in this very special part of my journey; I have many long-lasting friendships and will forever cherish my experience at White Lotus Foundation.

I considered this training to be the Small Liberal Arts College of YTTs. "Here are some basics, learn how to learn, and question everything."

The White Lotus School is an incredible experience . Tracy And Ganga are the best teachers and an immersive program is the way to go. The time was well structured and the balance was metered out between teaching techniques , practice , learning . You feel like you are drinking from the source . Their staff of Sven and office person - Whitney - will make you feel comfortable and help with any questions. Sven is the third edge to the White Lotus triangle.- an excellent teacher as well as Tracy and Ganga. The meals were delicious and our yurt was the perfect shelter for our training journey. I wanted to stay!! I would say anyone is lucky if they are able to spend time in Santa Barbara at White Lotus
