This sangha offers a transformative process of building communities to wholeness. Participants will develop a greater capacity for empathy in providing healing for both those who are harmed and those who cause harm.


About the Presenter

Strong Oak Lefebvre is the Executive Director and co-founder of the Visioning B.E.A.R. Circle Intertribal Coalition INC. She is co-author of the Walking in Balance with All Our Relations teaching curriculum, a violence prevention bystander approach that is based on the traditional values of indigenous people prior to colonization. Strong Oak, LICSW, has a Masters in Social Service Administration from Case Western Reserve University School of Social Work. Transforming communities to embrace restorative practices in dealing with both those who are victimized and those who have victimized others are important aspects of Strong Oak’s work. She is currently serving a six-year term on the Massachusetts Statutory Governor’s Restorative Justice Advisory Committee.
