About This Event

This workshop teaches corrective training techniques, fun untraditional movement strategies, and tools to help focus the mind and help heal the body. Presenter Laura Gorrian-Goodwin promotes connection to the body through joy, movement, and self-love.


About the Presenter

Laura is a certified professional life coach. As an ACSM-certified exercise physiologist and wellness coach, she focuses on her clients’ physical, mental, and spiritual health as an interconnected body. As a TRX-certified trainer, Ms. Gorriaran-Goodwin uses highly portable performance training tools that leverage gravity and the TRX bodyweight to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously. She was the owner and founder of the 14,000 sq ft facility, The Training Academy, one of Brooklyn, NY’s power fitness lofts. She has been Director of Fitness and Personal Coaching for many USA national fitness chains. A certified Functional Movement System (FMS) specialist and USOC Sports Performance Coach, Laura’s list of clients include sports, entertainment, and government celebrities. Currently, she is co-owner of a private studio space “EmpowerRI” Wellness, within the Heart and Hand Wellness Center in Historic Pawtuxet Village Rhode Island.
