Learn arm balances as prep postures and creative nuances to travel through hamstring, hip, and shoulder work. Take the time in this workshop to embody the actual shape rather than whizzing right through it. Explore curious, smart, and fun orientations of Bird of Paradise and work deeper than you have before to reap the benefits, breath space into the asana, and find ease in the process.


About the Presenter

Mimi Rieger (E-RYT 500) is an internationally recognized yoga teacher and founder-proprietor of the eponymous MRY | STUDIOS, the Power of Teaching yoga teacher training program and PureFitnessDC, LLC. Rooted in a deep commitment to curiosity, she studies many schools of yoga, including Ashtanga, Rocket Vinyasa, Progressive Ashtanga, Budokon, Vinyasa, Yin, and Forrest Yoga. She leads with the intention to take the longer route rather than the short cut and uses intelligence, awareness, and dedication to build a sustainable, knowledgable and supportive practice. Mimi uses her multidisciplinary approach to teach an expansive variety of offerings and trains teachers and students in the United States. Additionally, she curates workshops, retreats, master classes, and charity-driven, community development events. She also offers consulting services to organizations, businesses, and schools. A constant seeker herself, she continues to study with her own teachers and embarks on inspirational quests to expand her breadth of knowledge and passion to serve.
