About the Presenter

Rubén Vásquez has been practicing yoga daily since 1996. For Rubén, yoga is a craft honed over many hours of deliberate practice and informed by study of traditional yoga texts as well as by knowledge of functional anatomy, physiology, and psychology. For over a decade, Rubén has been using the wisdom of the Patanjali's Yoga Sutras as his main guidelines for creating an effective yoga practice for today's practitioners. Having taught yoga full-time for the past 15 years, Rubén's clear and logical approach to teaching emphasizes an integrated yoga practice, focusing on increasing benefits and avoiding injuries.
