About This Workshop
This month, we're highlighting men's yoga with a focus on the Black male community. This workshop looks at meaningful ways to engage Black men in the practices of yoga and meditation, while highlighting its benefits and how our panelists individually impact the cities and communities they serve.
About the Presenters Show
Natasha Chaoua is the founder and owner of Dubwise Yoga Denver, LLC, and a graduate and Member-Owner of Satya Yoga Cooperative, Colorado’s first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program for Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and the nation’s first BIPOC member-owned yoga cooperative. Natasha is a certified Hatha and Accessible Yoga teacher and an Accessible Yoga Ambassador and Supporting Organization leading in-person and online offerings BIPOC. Her current partnerships are with Satya Yoga Cooperative, Spirit of the Sun, SHYFT at Mile High, and Lululemon Highlands Square.
Tyrone Beverly is the Founder and Executive Director of Im’Unique and one of the leading advocates for diverse inclusivity in yoga. His extreme passion for equality, human rights, unity, and physical and social health has kickstarted a wellness movement that unites communities and fosters healthy lifestyles across the nation. Both internationally and nationally known, Tyrone has touched global communities by successfully taking his health initiative to locations such as the Ragamuffin Summer Camp in Settlement, Jamaica, and Wudang, China.
