About the Presenters

Maria Jones (E-RYT 200, RYT 500, RCYT, YACEP) is a health professional (BSc), yoga teacher, and Continuing Yoga Education Provider who specializes in chair-based yoga. Maria was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus which lead to kidney failure. Maria's mission is to help others in a similar position benefit from the practices of yoga and make a difference with the gift of chair yoga.

Krista Marzewski believes in making yoga accessible for everyBODY. If you are breathing, you’re doing yoga. Passionate about sharing the gifts of the practice; having personally noticed the changes in herself, Krista is continually furthering her education and growing her offerings through “Yoga with Krista”. Krista specializes in Trauma-Informed yoga. These classes offer slow, introspective postures, connecting breath to movement sprinkled with laughter and smiles in hopes you leave her class filled with a new awareness. As a person affected by trauma, and in recovery, yoga taught her to reconnect herself physically, mentally, and spiritually.
