About This Workshop
TriYoga is a systematized method that includes seven levels of Prāṇa Vidyā practices. Level 1 introduces internal and external breath retention practices with Uḍḍīyana Bandha (Navel Lock), Mūla Bandha (Root Lock), and Jalandhara Bandha (Chin Lock). The practice concludes with a concentration kriya to calm and focus the mind, leading into meditation. Join this session to experience a powerful practice to increase energy throughout the body, quiet the mind, and achieve deeper states of meditation.
About the Presenter Show
Brahmi is a senior TriYoga Teacher Trainer. She has practiced yoga since 1975 and TriYoga since 1993. TriYoga transformed her practice, healed decades of chronic pain, and improved every aspect of her life and being.
Brahmi feels her highest purpose is to share the knowledge of TriYoga to help others reduce pain, suffering and optimize well-being. She teaches therapeutic yoga classes to help alleviate back pain and a teacher training course for Parkinson’s, developed with the ADPA.
Brahmi has trained teachers for over 20 years, and enjoys teaching seasoned practitioners to lead them into deeper levels of practice, open energy pathways, and experience expansion in awareness, energy and consciousness.
Since the beginning of the pandemic Brahmi has offered TriYoga Prāṇa Vidyā classes three mornings week for free or by donation. A steady group from Boston, NY, and Argentina has progressed from Basics to Level 5. The morning group practice has become a lifeboat during these challenging times.
