About This Workshop
Without comfort there is no stillness. Krista Marzewski and Maria Jones explore utilizing a chair to create space and comfort through the practice of chair yoga. Krista and Maria talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly aspects of being seated for prolonged periods of time and then take participants through a short chair-based yoga practice that aims to bring comfort and stillness in both mind and body.
About the Presenter Show
Krista Marzewski believes in making yoga accessible for everyBODY. If you are breathing, you’re doing yoga. Passionate about sharing the gifts of the practice; having personally noticed the changes in herself, Krista is continually furthering her education and growing her offerings through “Yoga with Krista”. Krista specializes in Trauma-Informed yoga. These classes offer slow, introspective postures, connecting breath to movement sprinkled with laughter and smiles in hopes you leave her class filled with a new awareness. As a person affected by trauma, and in recovery, yoga taught her to reconnect herself physically, mentally, and spiritually.
