Discuss basic ayurvedic principles through a Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (J.E.D.I.) lens. Workshop participants will learn about doshas while exploring techniques to ameliorate samskaras and build ojas, while fostering greater self-love and appreciation.

Dr. Keshia Nicole Abraham is a 750-hour Kripalu-certified Ayurvedic yoga specialist, initially certified in hatha yoga at Synergy Yoga, Miami, in 2002. She is the owner and operator of Soul Wisdom International, through which she shares the wisdom of Ayurveda, knowledge and experience about international education and her life’s work in African Diaspora literature and culture. She holds a doctorate in comparative literature from Binghamton University with concentrations in African and African diasporic women’s literature, popular education, and women’s studies. A graduate of Spelman College, her work in education abroad has given direction to her role as Dean of Arts and Sciences, Director of International Education, and Chair of Humanities at Florida Memorial University.
