About This Event

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is currently considering a rule that would impose a nationwide ban on almost all past and future non-compete agreements between employers and workers in the US. Join our legislative and regulatory counselors Aimee Ghosh and Julia Judish from Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP, who will explain how this proposed rule, if passed, would affect yoga professionals and businesses.

About the Presenters

Aimee Ghosh, a partner in Pillsbury’s Public Policy practice, provides strategic counsel on government affairs strategy; federal and state regulatory obligations; and policy, legislation, and rulemaking. Aimee regularly guides clients on strategies to secure funding, comply with regulatory obligations, and leverage public support to grow business objectives. She enjoys strong professional relationships with federal regulators and Congressional Committee staff, and she regularly represents clients before federal agencies, Congress, and state legislative and regulatory bodies. Aimee has been nationally ranked as a leading Government Relations lawyer by Chambers USA each year since 2019.

Julia Judish is Special Counsel with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, in their Washington, DC office. Her practice focuses on employment law and nonprofit governance, and she serves as a legal advisor to the Professional Certification Coalition (PCC), a national coalition of certification organizations and professional societies. Julia writes extensively on employment and nonprofit legal issues and has received multiple honors for excellence in legal services, including recognition in Lawdragon’s Guide to the 500 Leading U.S. Corporate Employment Lawyers. She graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School.
