CE Workshop | Teaching Skills-Based Yoga Classes

May 10, 2022, 12pm ET

About This Workshop

In this digital age, yoga teachers have access to an endless stream of content that can be inspirational, but at times overwhelming. It can cause teachers to doubt their abilities, and even overcomplicate their approach to asana. During this workshop, you will learn how to offer clear, compelling yoga classes, whether online or in-person.

Teaching Skills-Based Yoga Classes will help you:

  • Make the most of what you already know, and teach it with your unique voice
  • Plan your classes with focus and confidence
  • Create classes that include experiential learning

About the Presenter

Erin has taught yoga for 20 years. In these decades of devotion to the practice, she’s been a hustling freelancer, a studio owner and now connects with many students online. You’ll find her teaching in-person whenever she can, and she loves putting the online names to in-person faces.

In her classes, it’s evident that she values understanding more than achievement. You’ll see that she teaches movement skills as a means of doing a yoga pose. A modern understanding of movement does not oppose the philosophical traditions of yoga, rather these two elements combine to create deep self-inquiry.

She considers herself to be an educator, so her classes are meant to inform and illuminate. Her plank poses will refurbish your upper back, her balance poses will set your glutes aflame. Humor is her secret ingredient for teaching.
