About This Event

Pranayama is a foundation of yoga, aimed at building connection between the breath, mind, body, and soul. When we focus on the breath, we are observing how our Prana—or energy—flows through us, perhaps with the aim of invigorating, relaxing, or healing the self. Join us for a discussion and self-exploration of the give-and-take of our energy, and the self-care that comes from Pranayama.

In this webinar, you will learn:

  • A refresher on the concept of Prana and Pranayama
  • How to use the breath as a tool to master your body and mind
  • The physiological aspects of Pranayama

About the Presenter

Deepali Saxena, RYT 500, from Mumbai is a certified Yoga teacher, evaluator, and practitioner under the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India. Yoga has been a part of her life for over few years and has helped her grow stronger and more flexible both on and off the mat. She completed her Yoga Shastri course from the BVB institute in Mumbai and then went on to pursue the Advanced Teachers Training program (900 hours ATTC) from the prestigious The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, India. Aside from her education, she has also participated in many wellness workshops, Health camps, and various other wellbeing events. She considers Yoga as an experiential science and a more holistic way of life. Applying ancient Yogic wisdom to today’s world in a more useful and understandable way by integrating both theoretical and practical aspects is her mantra.

She has conducted teaching sessions of Yoga Philosophy and Yogic concepts to undergraduate engineering college students at S.P.I.T ( Sardar Patel Institute of Technology) Mumbai in addition to regularly teaching to Yogacharya students at Bhavan's Yoga Bharati. Deepali has also conducted webinar with multiple districts of The Lioness club Arpan.
