Colorado Bill will be Considered by House Education Committee on March 18

March 15, 2015

Senate Bill 186, our bill to exempt yoga teacher training programs (YTTs) from unnecessary regulation by the Colorado Division of Private Occupational Schools, has been introduced in the Colorado House of Representatives and will be considered by the House Education Committee on Wednesday, March 18 around 10:00 a.m. in the House Committee Room 112 (in the Capitol Basement).

If you plan to join us at this meeting to share your experiences and to ask our legislators to support this important legislation, please let us know by contacting by our representative, former state Rep. Matt Knoedler, at matthew.knoedler@squirepb.com or (303) 641-3977.

Even if you cannot make this meeting, it is not too late to write your legislators and members of the House Education and Appropriations Committees. We have created a new template letter targeted specifically to House members for you to download. Just find the name of your legislator–or the members of the Education and Appropriations Committees–and print, sign and send.
