Jaime began practicing yoga consistently in 2002 for the physical benefits, and as a way to balance the stress of graduate school. As she transitioned from going to school to living and working in a new town, her yoga practice provided her a sense of stability and peace in what felt at the time like an otherwise turbulent world. In 2006 she began her path towards becoming a yoga instructor with a level 1 training at Joyful Yoga in Fort Myers, following which she taught for several years in Fort Myers and the Pine Island area. In 2014 she completed a 200-hour teacher training in the Kripalu tradition with Deva Parnell at Discovery Yoga in St. Augustine. Over the years Jaime has found her practice to continually provide nourishment to the body, mind and soul. Through her classes she seeks to help her students find those same benefits. Always interested in learning more, Jaime will be completing an Ayurvedic Yoga certification this winter.
