Rudy's passion is helping people discover joy and inner peace through a self-nurturing practice of yoga. His gift is leading Dynamic Gentle Yoga, refined over 30 years of teaching and training Kripalu Yoga teachers.
Rudy immersed himself in the study and practice of Kripalu Yoga as a resident of Kripalu Yoga Ashram in 1982. In a parallel universe he was one of the head cooks and kitchen managers serving vegetarian, macrobiotic and Indian cuisines.
In 1988 Rudy joined the faculty of Kripalu's Professional Yoga Teacher Training programs, now The Kripalu School of Yoga and Ayurveda. He has guided hundreds of yoga retreat programs, dozens of 200hr Yoga Teacher Trainings and Advanced Teacher Training courses.
He has developed a variety of yoga programs over the years and now regularly offers Dynamic Gentle Yoga classes, workshops and training programs, Dynamic Gentle Chair Yoga programs and an annual Gentle Yoga vacation in Tuscany every September.
He is currently offering live online community-supported classes 7 days a week and a 4-weekend (over three months), 75-hour, Dynamic Gentle Yoga Teacher Certification online. See his website for more details.

Rudy enjoys life in the Berkshires of western Massachusetts with his darling wife, Joyce whom he married in 1993. They chose the legal name for their business to be Peirce Labs LLC in honor of the labs they have adopted in their life together. Their current dog, Loki is a 95 pound black Lab who likes to make appearances on Zoom periodically during classes.
He is an avid cyclist and versatile cook.
